********** The Solution ************
I chaps, I think have the solution. Firstly, don't waste you time trying to re-create the bartpe plugin script. After a day messing with attempting to convert the script I realised that there is a tool included with Pointsec that will patch the vistape.wmi file with the prot_2k driver and the correct registry setting. WoooHooo!
Under the tools folder look for the exe called PSWinRE.exe then follow your nose. Then when you want you VistaPE cd or usb stick you must actaully boot from the hard drive then when at the pointsec login screen press Ctrl - F10 then login and select your boot device.
Unfrotunately there steems to be some weiredness. My PE disk was loaded with programs but when I booted using the pointsec driver (Ctrl-F10), as opposed to booting normally, I was only able to see programs that I was running from ram, anything that I had select to run from cd / usb did not show up! To get round this I have selected that everything has to run from ram but obviously is not ideal on computers with low memory.
Will have a chat with a friend at Checkpoint and see if he know why this might be.
Hope you find this useful.
