Some days ago, IceCube mentioned the fact that it was difficult to find some specific informations that did not appeared neither in forum search or google search.

Unfortunately, very active forums tend to push older topics out of the public view and we sometimes have troubles in either remembering or being able to hand pick a few of those that worth to keep at hand.

A small step for solving this problem was taken.

Boot Land has now available it's own directory service.

http://boot-land.net/dir

It's a very simple system that requires no registration.

I've added some default sections and if more sections are necessary - please let me know.

I will be trying to update this directory with relevant information that is both posted here at the forums or anywhere else on the Internet and would really appreciate the help from other members in the community to keep this service up to date.

Thank you and hope this makes simpler to organize the interesting topics that are worth reading.

I've began adding links to the directory but it's a slow progress for a single person.. rolleyes.gif

I would really appreciate if software developers and tutorials writers also added links to their work to help new visitors quickly find these relevant informations instead of browsing through endless forum pages.

Thank you for helping.

Nuno, can you improve the submission form so that when you are already logged in on Boot Land, that it uses your username and that you don't need to type your email address.

Maybe add the http://www.boot-land.net/dir link and a bit of explanation to the search page too. A new user probably doesn't know that you have to use the Directory link in the navigation part to find some info fast.

Also add a google search box to the search page (this should belong to your other topic (I am just to lazy):
