Hi all. This is my first post.
I got everything I needed to be in LiveXP except common tasks pane.

Eventhough I choose "Show common tasks in folders" in folder options and visual effects tab in system properties, nothing happens. I have a older LiveXP iso with SP2 which i got it from my friend. In that liveXP, the common tasks pane is working.

I tried using "explorer shell - tweaks and settings script" and shellWM script. They didn't seem to work. Please assist me in bringing the common tasks pane in explorer

P.S: I am using the LiveXP-Recommended.zip as my source for the project.

Hi Arjun,

sorry for late answer, currently i am moving my house to a new one (today main furnitures moved, tomorrow small things will be moved & setting up, next day cleaning......... rolleyes.gif so i wont be available 4 - 5 days till i settle down ),

Yes i confirm "explorer shell - tweaks and settings script" option of "Use Common tasks in folder" not working with LiveXP, I made some quick tests but couldnt find the main reason (besides i find a mini bugy from a script but sadly fixing it do not solve the issue). Yes i remember old days when "common tasks in folder" working with LiveXP but it is not demanded by many users and eventually we missed this buggy, thanks for reporting.

Since i dont have much time these days, It will take a long while to make more detailed tests for me, I hope another member can help for this case.

Sorry for the late reply. I went out of station for one exam.

Yeap. Today i booted LiveXP and i copied shellstyle.dll to system32 folder. laugh.gif violo the common tasks pane came up instantly. After that it worked fine. Thanks JKX for your idea. I recommend the developer of explorer shell - tweaks and settings to copy shellstyle to liveXP in future.
