Or dsfi.exe + dsfo.exe (< 12 KB) ? :-)
Well, NO, that doesn't count in our small "competition".

dsfi/dsfo needs a Windows booted "behind", TODISK needs only DOS. (but it doesn't count as well, it was only a trick to see if you had anything up your sleeve

)
And snapshot, though nice, doesn't count as it is NOT Freeware (besides needing Windows as well).
Seriously, the comparison should be made with FREEWARE Windows apps, I would give my vote to ODIN:
http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=5871http://odin-win.sourceforge.net/(which has a GUI 771,584 bytes and a command line version 54,784)
Or Selfimage:
http://selfimage.excelcia.org/(which comes with an installer but actually is a single .exe 460.288 bytes in size)
Or possibly Partition Saving:
http://damien.guibouret.free.fr/en/index.html(which win executable stops at 304,640 bytes)
as they also include compression.

P.S.: Forgot this tool, still experimental, but handy:
http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=8480as it can make sparse files. (but
FAT
, around 1 Mb)
